RYE BROOK — A 19-year-old Port Chester man was arrested on burglary charges after a homeowner spotted him entering an unoccupied residence through a Ring doorbell camera.
The Rye Brook Police Department received a call from a resident at approximately 11 a.m. Oct. 8 reporting that he had observed an unknown individual enter his home on his Ring camera while the residence was unoccupied.
Patrol officers responded to the address on Ridge Boulevard and encountered the intruder inside the residence.
Officers arrested Jhon Stevan Amesquita-Sanchez and charged him with second-degree burglary.
Amesquita-Sanchez was arraigned at Rye Town Court and is currently being held at the Westchester County Jail on $10,000 bail.
