Boston police seek suspect in Fenway restaurant assault

BOSTON — Detectives are seeking to identify an individual in connection with an assault and battery at a Fenway restaurant early Saturday morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:15 a.m. Oct. 12 at a restaurant located at 86 Van Ness Street.

Detectives assigned to District D-4, which covers the South End and Back Bay areas, are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.

Police have released an image of the individual they are seeking to identify.
