Owego man arrested on bench warrant for DWI-related felony

OWEGO — The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 71-year-old Owego man on a bench warrant issued by Tioga County Court on Oct. 3.

Terrence Dooling was charged with a felony DWI-related offense after being released on another case, according to a sheriff’s office press release issued Oct. 9.

Dooling was taken to the Tioga County Jail and held pending further proceedings in County Court.

In a separate incident, the sheriff’s office arrested Darrick C. Cody, 32, of Owego on Sept. 18.

Cody was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and obstruction of governmental administration.

The arrest followed an investigation in the Village of Owego and a subsequent foot pursuit.

Cody was taken to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office and remanded to the jail division without bail.
