GREECE — A 41-year-old Greece man was arrested after police say he made a false bomb threat to a hotel that had asked him to leave earlier in the day.
Greece Police officers responded to Woodspring Suites on Bellwood Drive at approximately 7:58 p.m. Oct. 8 for a report of a bomb in the garbage.
During the investigation, dispatchers determined that the 911 caller’s phone originated from a different location at Extended Stay America on Center Place Drive.
Officers responded to the Extended Stay America and identified the caller as Vincent Roselli.
Roselli was found with his spouse and children at the hotel and admitted to placing the false bomb threat after being asked to vacate the Woodspring Suites earlier in the day.
There was no evidence of any explosive device or suspicious item at either location.
Roselli was arrested and charged with falsely reporting an incident in the first degree, a felony.
He was transported to the Monroe County Jail to await arraignment in CAP Court.
