WICKFORD — Troopers arrested Jesus Matos, age 33, of Cranston, on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 9:17 p.m. for multiple drug-related charges.
Matos faces charges including manufacturing, delivering and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamines, cocaine and fentanyl.
He also was charged with possession of methamphetamines, cocaine and fentanyl in quantities ranging from 1 ounce to 1 kilogram.
Additional charges include possession of more than 10 grams of crack cocaine and an outstanding arrest warrant from the Warwick Police Department for simple assault or battery.
The arrest resulted from a barracks investigation and subsequent warrant check conducted by Troopers Phillips and Castaneda.
Matos was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight.
He was scheduled for morning arraignment at Third Division District Court where he will be presented as a probation violator.
