BOSTON — Drug control units from four Boston police districts arrested two Dorchester men Tuesday after recovering 3 kilos of fentanyl during the execution of search warrants.
Nelson Rodriguez Tejada, 42, and Wellington Guzman Rodriguez, 27, both of Dorchester, were arrested on various drug trafficking charges.
Officers from Districts C-6 (South Boston), B-2 (Roxbury), C-11 (Dorchester), and E-13 (Jamaica Plain) conducted the drug investigation and executed search warrants at 41 Norfolk Street and 74 Geneva Avenue in Dorchester.
The search warrants yielded 3 kilos of fentanyl, 30 grams of crack cocaine, four rounds of .45 caliber ammunition, drug paraphernalia, drug packaging materials, and approximately $6,080 in U.S. currency.
Rodriguez Tejada faces charges of trafficking of Class A over 200 grams, trafficking of Class B, and unlawful possession of ammunition.
Guzman Rodriguez is charged with trafficking of Class A over 200 grams and trafficking of Class B.
Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
