RED HOOK — Red Hook Police are requesting public assistance after responding to a fight between two males that resulted in the recovery of a weapon.
Police were dispatched to the area of Tobacco Lane at approximately 9:25 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a fight in progress between two males.
Upon patrol arrival, both males had fled the scene on foot.
A black revolver pistol was recovered on scene following the physical altercation between the two subjects.
Red Hook Police along with New York State Police canvassed the area but were unable to locate anyone involved.
The gun was determined to be a CO2 powered tactical pistol equipped with a red dot sight and was loaded with metal ball ammunition.
