GLOUCESTER — The Gloucester Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a reckless driver who fled from officers Sunday night.
At approximately 9:24 p.m. Oct. 5, a gray sedan resembling a Dodge Challenger or KIA with a black or panoramic roof fled from police after it was observed traveling more than 60 mph on the Boulevard.
The operator failed to stop on Western Avenue before traveling recklessly the wrong way on Main Street at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle was later seen traveling dangerously fast down East Main Street toward Bass Avenue and later Nautilus Road.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has information regarding the make and model of the vehicle or its owner to contact them at 978-283-1212.
