CONSTANTIA — A 35-year-old Constantia man died early Tuesday morning when his vehicle overturned and struck a tree on County Route 17.
Michael Poli was driving a 2002 Volkswagen GTI north on County Route 17 around 12:07 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle, according to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office.
The car traveled off the west side of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree.
Poli was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred between Cook Road and Roosevelt Road in the Town of Constantia.
The New York State Police, Cleveland Volunteer Fire Department and Menter Ambulance assisted at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
