2 injured in Lyndonville crash on Main Street

LYNDONVILLE — Two vehicles collided on Main Street near Hemlock Lane on Oct. 6 at approximately 5:08 p.m., according to Vermont State Police.

Therese Austin, 37, of Saint Johnsbury, was driving a 2019 GMC Acadia that was waiting to make a left turn into an apartment complex when it was rear-ended by a 2020 Ford Ranger.

The Ford was operated by Marci Gadwah, 50, of Saint Johnsbury.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

The GMC sustained damage to its rear bumper, while the Ford sustained damage to its front bumper.

Neither driver reported injuries and no emergency medical services or fire department response was needed.

Road conditions were dry and weather was clear at the time of the crash.

Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to the scene and investigated the collision.
