JAMESTOWN — Officers responded to a south side address for a reported fight in progress at 6:40 p.m. Oct. 6.
Police arrived on scene and spoke with both parties involved in the altercation.
During the investigation, 19-year-old Leanette Arizmendi attempted to initiate the fight again.
When being placed into custody, Arizmendi continued to pull away from officers.
After a brief struggle, Arizmendi was placed into custody without further incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
She was charged with obstructing governmental administration in the second degree and resisting arrest.
Arizmendi was released with an appearance ticket and is due to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
