SCHUYLER FALLS — Members of the New York State Police arrested Carrie S. Bradley, 36, of Peru, for menacing in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree on Oct. 5.
Troopers responded to Shingle Street in the town of Schuyler Falls at approximately 5:45 p.m. for a report of a physical domestic dispute.
An investigation determined that Bradley and the victim were involved in a verbal argument that escalated when Bradley brandished a pocketknife, causing the victim to fear for their safety.
The victim was able to disarm Bradley, but Bradley continued to strike the victim.
The victim did not require medical attention.
Bradley was taken into custody and transported to SP Plattsburgh for processing.
She was later arraigned in the town of Schuyler Falls Court, where she was released on her own recognizance.
