Holyoke police recover crack-cocaine during well-being check

HOLYOKE — Holyoke Police Officers Jorge Soto and Justo Pagan recovered crack-cocaine and drug paraphernalia during a well-being check Sunday.

The officers responded to the area of Suffolk Street and Linden Street around 5:50 p.m. to check on a subject slumped over the wheel of a running car.

Officers found the vehicle with an apparently unconscious male inside, later identified as Kyle Konrad.

When officers approached the vehicle, Konrad woke up and turned off the car.

Officers observed crack-cocaine inside the vehicle.

Police recovered a container with suspected crack-cocaine, several crack pipes and other drug paraphernalia.

Kyle Konrad, 45, of Southampton, is charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug and possession of a Class B drug.
