BIDDEFORD — The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a structure fire that occurred at 540 Elm Street at approximately 7:46 a.m. Monday.
The property, identified as Kennebunkport Marina boat storage, sustained damage after a fire began in one of the stored boats.
The initial fire spread, damaging several other boats and causing structural damage to the facility.
Investigators have confirmed that the fire is not considered suspicious.
The Fire Marshal’s Office is being assisted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Biddeford Fire Department as the investigation continues.
