TOPSHAM — The Topsham Police Department has released the names of the people involved in a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred Saturday, Oct. 4 at 10:38 p.m. on Route 196/By-Pass Drive.
The driver of the 2020 GMC pickup truck was Joseph Lemont, 34, of Bowdoin, Maine.
The driver of the 2019 Volvo SUV was Lacey Wiles, 25, of Hermon, Maine.
The passenger in the 2019 Volvo who died from injuries sustained in the crash was Marcus Steinman, 23, of Topsham.
Lemont and Wiles remain at Maine Medical Center being treated for injuries suffered in the crash.
Police said there are no further updates on their medical condition.
