Brookfield man arrested for violating abuse prevention order

BROOKFIELD — A 32-year-old Brookfield man was arrested Sunday afternoon for violating an abuse prevention order just minutes after being served with the court document.

Jesse G. Poe was taken into custody without incident at approximately 3:12 p.m. on Snow Road following an investigation by Vermont State Police troopers from the Royalton Barracks.

According to police, Poe was served with the abuse prevention order minutes before allegedly violating its terms.

Poe was processed and released with a citation to appear at Orange County Criminal Division to answer to the charge.
