BOOTHBAY HARBOR — Fire investigators from the Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office responded to a structure fire at 79 Western Avenue early Saturday morning.
The fire was reported to 911 shortly after 2:30 a.m.
Fire crews from Boothbay Harbor, Southport, Boothbay, and Edgecomb Fire Departments quickly responded and were able to bring the fire under control.
Following an on-scene investigation, officials determined the fire was electrical in nature and originated from the back side of the residence.
No one was home at the time, and no injuries were reported.
