4 arrested on cocaine charges after Rutland traffic stop

RUTLAND — Four people were arrested on cocaine possession charges after a traffic stop on West Street at approximately 11:17 p.m. Oct. 3.

Vermont State Police troopers from the Rutland Barracks stopped a motor vehicle for an observed violation.

During the stop, troopers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view.

Consent to search the vehicle and occupants was obtained.

Troopers located suspected cocaine in the possession of each occupant.

The driver was identified as Andrew Webb, 45, of Rutland.

The passengers were identified as Sara Webb, 47, of Rutland; Jessica Coleman, 46, of Rutland; and Jessica Taylor, 39, of Rutland.

All four occupants were transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.

Andrew Webb was charged with felony cocaine possession and criminal DLS.

Sara Webb was charged with felony cocaine possession.

Jessica Coleman and Jessica Taylor were each charged with cocaine possession.

All four were issued criminal citations and released.
