JAMESTOWN — Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s First Platoon arrested a 31-year-old man on drug charges during a foot patrol on the city’s north side Friday morning.
Mackenzie Kelley was taken into custody at approximately 7:55 a.m. Oct. 3 after officers confirmed he had several active warrants issued out of Jamestown City Court.
Kelley was arrested without incident.
Upon further investigation, officers found Kelley was in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine.
He was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree in addition to the outstanding warrants.
Kelley was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
