GREECE — Police arrested a Rochester woman after officers spotted a stolen vehicle during an investigation into another stolen car alert.
Jabree Debose, 30, was taken into custody at approximately 5:52 p.m. Oct. 2 after officers conducted a traffic stop on a 2020 Ford Explorer near Long Pond Road.
Officers were initially investigating a license plate reader alert for a stolen vehicle in the area of West Ridge Road when they observed the second stolen vehicle traveling westbound.
The Ford Explorer had been reported stolen by Orleans Ford in Medina following a fraudulent purchase in July.
Medina Police confirmed the vehicle’s stolen status and provided supporting documentation to Greece officers.
Debose was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the 3rd degree, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree and aggravated unlicensed operation in the 3rd degree.
She was processed at Greece Police Headquarters and transported to the county jail for arraignment in CAP Court.
