SCHROON LAKE — Members of the New York State Police responded to a three-car collision involving a marked State Police vehicle on Interstate 87 northbound Friday at approximately 3:35 p.m.
A preliminary investigation determined that a State Police member was conducting a traffic stop at the time of the incident.
An uninvolved vehicle struck the trooper’s car.
The impact contributed to a multi-vehicle collision.
