HOPKINTON — Rhode Island State Police arrested a 49-year-old Coventry man Wednesday on an outstanding shoplifting warrant.
Troopers arrested Joseph M. DaSilva of 45 Willow Street during a motor vehicle stop on Route 3 at 1:55 p.m. Oct. 1.
DaSilva was wanted on an affidavit and arrest warrant issued by the Coventry Police Department for shoplifting.
He was transported to the Rhode Island State Police Hope Valley Barracks for processing.
DaSilva was later turned over to the Coventry Police Department.
