ELMIRA — A 29-year-old Elmira man was arrested Wednesday on an outstanding Superior Court warrant for violation of probation.
Philip J. Frederick was taken into custody at 8:15 a.m. on Oct. 1 on a warrant issued by Chemung County Court on Sept. 8.
Frederick is being held at Chemung County Jail pending arraignment.
A second Elmira man was arrested Wednesday on an active arrest warrant for failure to appear on a trespass charge.
Timothy W. Excell was taken into custody at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 1 on a warrant issued by Big Flats Town Court on Aug. 26.
Excell was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Big Flats Town Court at a later date.
