Bristol school bus crash leaves 1 with minor injuries

BRISTOL — A Bristol school bus carrying 14 students was involved in a motor vehicle crash on Stafford Avenue on Oct. 1 at 1:57 p.m.

The First Student bus was traveling just south of Farmington Avenue when it collided with a passenger vehicle.

All 14 Bristol Eastern High School students on board and the bus driver reported no injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle complained of minor injuries and was evaluated by medical personnel at the scene.

Representatives from the Bristol Board of Education responded to the crash site and contacted parents of the students on the bus.

Bus company representatives also responded to the scene.

Stafford Avenue was temporarily closed to traffic while first responders investigated the crash and cleared vehicles from the roadway.
