UNION — New York State Police at Endwell responded to a crash involving four vehicles on Union Center Maine Highway in the town of Union on Sept. 29 at approximately 5:15 p.m.
An investigation on scene determined that three vehicles were stopped in traffic when the operator of a Chevrolet Trail Blazer rear ended a 2006 Toyota Corolla causing the Toyota Corolla to rear end a 2017 GMC Acadia which then caused the GMC Acadia to rear end a 2022 Chevrolet pick-up truck.
As a result, two people were transported to Wilson Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
The operator of the Chevrolet Trail Blazer, Michele Lynn Drossos, age 58 of Endicott, was ticketed.
Drossos and a 14-year-old female passenger were not transported to a local hospital.
The operator of the Toyota Corolla, Ryan Marcelo Freita, age 26 of Endicott, was transported to Wilson Medical Center.
The operator of the GMC Acadia, Charles N. Mann, age 63 of Endicott, was transported to Wilson Medical Center.
A 56-year-old female passenger was not transported to a local hospital.
The operator of the Chevrolet pick-up, Joshua David Malloy-Buczek, age 45 of Endicott, and a 37-year-old female passenger were not transported to a local hospital.
