CRANSTON — Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Victor D. Roots, 28, of Cranston, on Sept. 29 on an affidavit and arrest warrant from the Cranston Police Department.
Roots faces charges of domestic assault, domestic refusal to relinquish telephone, domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct.
He was taken into custody without incident and turned over to Cranston Police Department members on scene.
Also on Sept. 29, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Rayniel Golay, 35, of Central Falls.
Golay faces 11 charges including possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and cocaine, multiple counts of possession of a firearm while committing a controlled substance violation, multiple counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and distribution of a controlled substance in a school zone.
Golay was processed at the Lincoln Barracks, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and then turned over to the ACI Intake Center pending his morning arraignment in Sixth Division District Court.
