WESTFIELD — A two-month investigation into narcotics activity at 43 Wood St. in the Village of Westfield ended Wednesday with investigators executing a search warrant at the residence.
Investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department, Dunkirk Police Department and Westfield Police Department participated in the operation, with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s SWAT team making entry into the residence.
Donald Turley and Maureen Presto were located at the residence during the search.
Investigators seized 10.5 grams of methamphetamine along with scales and packaging material for the sale and distribution of narcotics.
Both Turley and Presto were charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
The pair were transported to the centralized Arraignment program at the Chautauqua County Jail.
Authorities continue to ask community members to report suspicious or narcotics-related activity in their neighborhoods.
