ONEONTA — The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 50-year-old man Sept. 24 on charges related to stealing a bicycle.
Grover W. Pangburn of Oneonta was charged with petit larceny, criminal mischief in the fourth degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree.
Sheriff’s officials said Pangburn was captured on surveillance video at the Liquor Depot in the Town of Oneonta cutting a bike lock off a victim’s bicycle and leaving the scene.
Pangburn was taken into custody during a separate incident and later transported to the Otsego County Correctional Facility.
He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Oneonta Town Court at a later date.
