NORTH DANSVILLE — Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty reports the arrest of a Mount Morris resident on felony charges following an investigation by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
On Sept. 28, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence on Hornell Road in the Town of North Dansville for the report of a larceny of a motor vehicle that had occurred.
Sheriff’s Deputies began an investigation into the Grand Larceny and through the investigation, the suspect was identified as 33-year-old Gabriel Bingham from the Town of Mount Morris.
Sheriff’s Deputies located and arrested Bingham and charged him with felony Grand Larceny in the Third Degree.
Bingham was transported to the Livingston County Jail where he was turned over to Central Booking Deputies for processing and pre-arraignment detention.
Bingham was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part at the Livingston County Jail before Town of Nunda Justice Morris.
The Judge remanded Bingham to the Custody of the Sheriff without the possibility of bail due to him having two or more prior felony convictions.
The Livingston County Public Defender’s Office was present and represented Bingham at the court arraignment for his defense.
The Livingston County District Attorney’s Office was also present to represent the People.
