JAMESTOWN — Seven months of investigation into narcotics activity in the City of Jamestown resulted in a search warrant being executed at 610 Monroe St. in Jamestown.
Narcotics Investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, City of Jamestown Police Department, and City of Dunkirk Police Department executed the search warrant at 8:35 a.m.
Located at the residence was David E. Brown III.
As a result of the search investigators seized 643 grams of cocaine, 40.4 grams of crack cocaine, scales and packaging used for the sale and distribution of narcotics and $27,371 in U.S. currency.
David E. Brown III was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
Brown will be arraigned in the City of Jamestown Court.
Authorities continue to ask members of the community to call and report suspicious or narcotics related activity within their neighborhoods.
