FALMOUTH — A three-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 295 near Exit 10 at approximately 4:30 p.m. today.

A Subaru sedan operated by Emily Paskewicz of Southport failed to see heavy traffic stopped ahead and struck an Audi sedan operated by Daniel Antolovich of Storrs, Connecticut, according to Maine State Police.

The initial impact pushed the Audi into a pickup truck driven by Chad Greelee of Richmond.

Paskewicz’s car became disabled in the middle of the passing lane after the impact, and the Subaru caught fire.

All occupants were able to exit the Subaru with no reported injuries.

The Falmouth Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire quickly.

Troopers, along with fire and tow recovery crews, worked to clear the roadway.

Due to heavy traffic, I-295 was slowed to a crawl for over an hour before normal traffic flow was restored.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
