JOHNSTOWN — The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office handled 473 incidents and made 47 arrests between Aug. 29 and Sept. 11, according to a bi-weekly report released by the department.
The incidents included 148 traffic stops, 29 motor vehicle accidents, 16 domestic violence complaints and nine disorderly conduct cases.
Other incidents reported were seven animal complaints, six welfare checks, six larcenies, five trespass cases, three DWIs, three criminal contempt cases, three criminal mischief complaints, three missing persons cases, two assaults, two burglaries, two mental health complaints, one fraud case and one vehicle theft.
Among the arrests, Philip M. Bollettieri, 21, of Johnstown, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree, an E felony.
Jason P. Stover, 45, of Ballston Spa, was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree, an E felony.
Topanga M. Haight, 30, of Johnstown, was charged with torturing/injuring animal/failure to provide sustenance, an A misdemeanor.
Richard Malecki, 73, of Perth, was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with .08% or more alcohol in blood and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18% or more.
Jeffy J. Kalavelil, 44, of New Jersey, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18% or more, and operating a motor vehicle with .08% or more alcohol in blood.
Derick J. Shults, 45, of Gloversville, was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with .08% or more alcohol in blood and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18% or more.
Jeanette M. Simek, 48, of Johnstown, was charged with multiple counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, petit larceny and identity theft in the third degree across several jurisdictions.
Charles A. Campione, 40, of Dolgeville, was arrested on Fulton County warrants and charged with bail jumping in the second degree, an E felony.
Multiple other individuals were arrested on charges including operating a motor vehicle while registration suspended, aggravated unlicensed operation, criminal contempt, petit larceny and drug possession.
