2 injured in Randolph crash on Interstate 89

RANDOLPH — The Vermont State Police received several reports of a vehicle that lost control and crashed into the tree line in the median on Interstate 89 southbound at mile marker 32.1 on Sept. 25 at approximately 8:18 p.m.

Fire and EMS were also dispatched to the scene.

Emergency responders arrived to find two occupants entrapped in a 2012 Toyota Rav4 which was totaled.

The operator was identified as Emma Shaw, 29, of Danvers, Massachusetts.

The passenger was identified as Lillian Shaw, 25, of Chesterfield, Massachusetts.

Both occupants were wearing seat belts.

The occupants were transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Road conditions were wet due to rain at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
