Providence woman arrested on drug charge during traffic stop

LINCOLN WOODS — Troopers arrested Katelynn Marfeo, age 30, of 14 Shaw Street, Providence, Rhode Island at 2:52 p.m. for possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance (Alprazolam) – less than 10 grams.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Broad Street in the City of Providence.

Marfeo was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth District Court date.

In a separate incident at 12:38 a.m., troopers arrested Henrique Vieira Semedo, age 19, of 765 Broad Street Floor 2, Central Falls, Rhode Island for possession of a stolen vehicle.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Broad Street in the City of Pawtucket.

Vieira Semedo was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Sixth District Court.

At 1:09 a.m., troopers arrested Briankah Akinola, age 18, of 100 Randall Street Apartment 506, Providence, Rhode Island for a Family Court juvenile bench warrant for felony assault by use of device similar to firearm.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street in the City of Providence.

Akinola was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Women’s Intake.
