CAMBRIDGE — Vermont State Police have charged two men with retail theft and unlawful trespass following incidents at Aubuchon Hardware on VT Route 15.
Travis Daigle, 22, of Woodbury, faces charges of retail theft and two counts of unlawful trespass.
Alex Maldonado, 22, of Greensboro Bend, is charged with aiding and abetting retail theft, two counts of unlawful trespass, and operating with a criminally suspended license.
Police said the men entered the store on Aug. 20 and Aug. 22, removed merchandise through the rear door without paying and drove away.
Both suspects had been previously trespassed from the store, according to police.
The retail theft was reported to Vermont State Police on Aug. 22.
Police located Daigle and Maldonado on Sept. 23 and issued citations.
Both men are scheduled to appear at Lamoille County Superior Court on Nov. 12 at 12:30 p.m.
