BARNARD — Vermont State Police arrested a 32-year-old Barnard man on domestic assault charges following a 911 hang-up call Sept. 24.
Police received the hang-up call at approximately 11:33 p.m. that mapped to a residence on Daniels Lane in Barnard.
A subsequent investigation revealed that Blaine Shultz caused pain and injury to a household member, according to police.
Shultz was arrested and transported to the Royalton Barracks for processing.
He was cited and released with conditions.
Shultz is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division on Sept. 25 at 12:30 p.m.
