SOUTH RYEGATE — Vermont State Police are seeking two Bradford residents on attempted murder charges stemming from a road rage incident that involved gunfire on U.S. Route 302 on Sept. 20.
Troopers have obtained New England-wide and New York extraditable arrest warrants for Justin French, 36, and Kayla Cabey, 33, both of Bradford.
The pair face charges of first-degree attempted murder, reckless endangerment and criminal threatening in connection with the shooting incident.
Police consider French and Cabey armed and dangerous.
The suspects are known to frequent Orange, Caledonia and Washington counties in Vermont, and have strong ties to Grafton County, New Hampshire.
Anyone with information on French or Cabey’s whereabouts should not approach them and should instead call 911, their local police department, or the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury barracks at 802-748-3111.
