Manchester police seek suspect in Union Street stabbing

MANCHESTER — Manchester Police are actively searching for 32-year-old Randy Katanga of Manchester in connection with a stabbing at a Union Street apartment.

On Sept. 23 at approximately 5:30 p.m., Manchester Police responded to 434 Union Street for a report of a stabbing.

Arriving officers located a man with a laceration to his right bicep.

The victim told officers he had gotten into a fight with another man, later identified as Katanga.

During the incident, the victim was slashed in the arm.

Through the investigation, police established probable cause to issue a warrant for first degree assault for Katanga.
