BREWER — Brewer police executed a search warrant at an apartment on Union Street on Sept. 24, seizing cocaine base and arresting two individuals who were transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
Information obtained during the warrant led to a subsequent bail search at a residence on Fling Street.
That search resulted in the seizure of additional cocaine base and the arrest of another subject.
Corporal Christopher Woodman and Officer Jasmine Sallies served as the case investigators.
Brewer Code Enforcement and the Maine Department of Health and Human Services were also contacted during the course of this investigation.
The offenses occurred within a designated drug-free safe zone, which elevated certain charges.
Jennifer Arnold, 57, of Brewer, was charged with unlawful possession of Schedule W drugs, a Class D felony, and violation of conditional release, a Class E crime.
Shaquille Wright, 32, of Brewer, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a Class D felony, and aggravated trafficking of Schedule W drugs, a Class A felony.
Nicole Pelkey, 37, of Brewer, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a Class D felony, aggravated trafficking of Schedule W drugs, a Class A felony, and unlawful furnishing of Schedule W drugs, a Class C felony.
