LANCASTER — A 47-year-old New Hampshire man was arrested on outstanding warrants after being stopped for speeding on Sept. 22.
Officer Trivero observed a motorcycle traveling 71 mph in a 50 mph zone while on patrol.
During the traffic stop, the driver was identified as Jeffrey Rogers of Wentworth.
Rogers did not have a motorcycle endorsement to operate a motorcycle.
Police discovered Rogers had two electronic bench warrants for his arrest.
Rogers was taken into custody on the warrants and transported to the Lancaster Police Department.
He was charged with operating without a motorcycle endorsement, speed and open container of alcohol.
Rogers was given a summons to appear on these charges in Lancaster District Court.
One of the bench warrants required cash bail.
Rogers was unable to post the cash bail and was transported to the Coos County House of Corrections pending a hearing.
