JAMESTOWN — Three people were arrested Sept. 22 on charges ranging from domestic violence to drug possession, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
At approximately 6:40 p.m., officers from the Second Platoon observed 22-year-old Selena Santiago walking near E. 6th St. and Winsor St.
Officers were aware that Santiago had several active bench warrants issued by Jamestown City Court.
Santiago was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
A search of Santiago’s belongings at the jail revealed Suboxone strips and hydrocodone pills.
In addition to five active bench warrants, Santiago is being charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
She is being held pending arraignment.
At about 8:18 p.m., officers responded to a South side address for a domestic dispute.
Officers located 40-year-old Shyron A. Campbell in the residence with the victim.
Officers learned that multiple Stay Away Order of Protections were in place for Campbell to stay away from the victim.
As officers attempted to place Campbell into custody, he began to fight with officers.
After a brief struggle, he was placed into custody and transported to the city jail.
Campbell is charged with Criminal Contempt 1st Degree and Resisting Arrest.
Campbell is held in the city jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
At 11:47 p.m., officers from the third platoon responded to a west side address for a domestic dispute.
Through investigation, police found that 38-year-old Michael C. Hillman unlawfully entered the victim’s residence and choked the victim.
A full stay away order of protection was in place for Hillman to stay away from the victim.
Hillman was located a short time later and taken into custody without incident.
Hillman is being held at the Jamestown City Jail on charges of Burglary in the first degree, Aggravated Criminal Contempt, Strangulation in the second degree, and Assault in the third degree.
