FALMOUTH — A 56-year-old man was arrested Sept. 23 following a search warrant execution at his Homestead Lane residence as part of a narcotics distribution investigation.
John Wells III was taken into custody at approximately 10:06 a.m. after investigators from the Falmouth Police Department, Cape Cod DEA Task Force and Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office searched his home.
Police recovered crack cocaine, ammunition and additional items consistent with narcotics distribution during the search.
Wells was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (subsequent offense) and possession of ammunition without an FID card.
He was booked at the Falmouth Police Department and will be arraigned in Falmouth District Court.
