UTICA — Investigators from the Utica Police Department Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant at 6 Alexandria Road in New Hartford on Sept. 19.
The operation was assisted by members of the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and the New Hartford Police Department.
The investigation began as a narcotics probe in Utica and led authorities to the New Hartford address.
Authorities reported seizing more than 7.5 pounds of cocaine, 85 pounds of marijuana and $20,000 in cash during the raid.
Police also confiscated scales, packaging materials and several thousand pills of presumed methamphetamine.
The pills will be sent to the New York State Crime Lab for definitive testing, with further charges expected following the results.
William Hubbard, 35, of New Hartford was arrested at the conclusion of the warrant.
Hubbard was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the first degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.
