Couple cited on financial exploitation charges in Waltham

WALTHAM — A local couple was cited on financial exploitation charges following an investigation into the alleged theft of funds from a vulnerable adult.

Troopers responded to a report of fraudulent activity at a residence on Crosby Heights on Sept. 10 after being contacted by Adult Protective Services.

An investigation determined that Michael Kenyon, 47, and Hilery Kenyon, 52, both of Waltham, acquired funds from a vulnerable adult through the use of undue influence or duress.

The victim was identified as 71-year-old James Gamblin of Waltham.

Both suspects were issued citations on Sept. 21 to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later date.
