Police arrest Providence man on domestic charges

PROVIDENCE — Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested a city man on multiple domestic charges Friday morning.

Trey Pinkerton, 30, of 70 Updike St., was taken into custody at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 19.

The arrest was made on an affidavit and arrest warrant issued by the Providence Police Department.

Pinkerton faces charges of domestic assault by strangulation, domestic disorderly conduct, violation of a protection order and fraud.

The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Violent Fugitive Task Force.
