HOOSICK FALLS — Two Hoosick Falls residents were arrested on animal cruelty and child endangerment charges following a police investigation that began in August.
Joseph Pulaski and Kaila Crawford were each charged with five counts of animal cruelty under New York State Agriculture and Markets Law and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child under New York State Penal Law.
The Hoosick Falls Police Department received a report of possible animal cruelty on Monday, Aug. 25.
Pulaski and Crawford made their initial court appearance Thursday in the Village of Hoosick Falls Court.
Both defendants were remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail without bail, pending placement into the Electronic Monitoring Program.
The Honorable Thomas G. Restino Jr., village justice, issued the order.
