UTICA — A man was stabbed multiple times during a party dispute early Sept. 18, police said.
Utica police and fire units responded to Devereux Street at approximately 1:45 a.m. regarding a stabbing investigation.
Personnel found a male suffering from several stab wounds to the midsection.
Police learned there was a gathering in an apartment when the male attempted to end the party and have people leave.
The man and a female engaged in an argument during which the female stabbed him in the stomach and chest, then fled.
The male was transported to Wynn Hospital where his injuries were determined to be non-life threatening.
The Criminal Investigations Division has been assigned the case.
