MILTON — A homeless man was arrested Monday on charges of criminal possession of stolen property and identity theft following an investigation that began with a larceny complaint last week.

John C. Williamson Jr., 43, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the 4th degree, a class E felony, along with identity theft in the 3rd degree and petit larceny, both class A misdemeanors.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office received the initial larceny complaint Thursday at 10:13 a.m. at 315 Stone Church Road in Milton.

Williamson is accused of knowingly possessing a stolen debit card with intent to benefit himself.
