ROME — Officers from the Rome Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a reported robbery in the 1100 block of Floyd Avenue at approximately 1:35 a.m. Tuesday.
The victim told police she was riding her bicycle southbound in the 1100 block of Floyd Avenue when a silver vehicle approached her.
An unidentified male exited the vehicle, forcibly pushed the victim off her bicycle, and fled the scene with it.
The victim did not sustain any injuries during the incident.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
