WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — A Bradford woman was arrested on multiple warrants and charged with providing false information to police during a traffic stop Sunday night.
Christina Garrison, 36, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by Vermont State Police troopers on Interstate 89 South at Exit 1 near U.S. Route 4 at approximately 11:11 p.m. Sept. 15.
During the investigation, troopers determined Garrison had provided a false identity.
Police discovered she had active warrants from Washington County for grand larceny, retail theft and aggravated vehicle operation without owner’s consent.
Garrison was taken into custody and transported to the Hartford Police Department.
She was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility.
Garrison was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on Oct. 28 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charge of false information to law enforcement.
